I’m back with another Sound Enchantment episode on Friday.
This time exploring resonance and harmonic structure of the mighty little gong Jupiter.
Selecting a combination of close up and distant mics, I am going to observe the disclosing of the new layers of harmonics created in resonance and dissonance when juxtaposed with drones from synthesisers.
A night based on reflection upon sound, resonance ambient and contemplative music, Sound Enchantments is a series of live performances, meant to retain the ritualistic and sacred aspect of sound alongside a more experimental and elemental approach.
These series are free but donations are graciously received with full gratitude.
