SALVATICUS SELVATICO
Salvaticus Selvatico is a playground of experimentation to overcome boundaries between Sound art and Sound healing.
For over a decade I have explored resonance and interaction between holistic, intuitive and sacred instruments, such as Gongs and Himalayan and crystal Bowls, in combination with Synthesisers, processed sound, and controlled feedback. Within my last works, I immersed myself into a magnifying sonic journey into the very molecular principle of sound, observing hidden connections of contrasting elements.
“The inner sound in between trance and contemplation”. BlowUp
“...a divine session of time-dilating, resonant drone meditations on Gongs, Himalayan Bowls, and synths. Lovely, focussed music, full of presence and room recorded intimacy, that rewards focused, durational attention with transportive effect..." BOOMKAT

POLBRONE
Polbrone is an experimental cinematic granular music project altogether with my brother Andrea Salvatici.
Our sound fluctuates between musical improvisation, sound exploration and evolving drones. Polbrone like contrasting effects, melodies that gradually destroy and decay, combining acoustic instruments with digital processing.
“Using zither, keyboards, guitar and kalimba, the duo create a tapestry of shifting lights and contrasting textures. Through digital looping, the zither is crystallized into shards of sparkling glass, and through some occluded process it’s synthesized into rhythm. Delayed guitar takes over from the keys, and the room is awash with ambiance as lighting (literally) shifts.” Wesley Freeman-Smith Colliding Lines
CLORINDE
Internationally acclaimed and multi awards winning, including “best experimental album of the Decade” (A closer Listen 2019) Clorinde was formed in 2005 in the city of Glasgow by my brother Andrea Salvatici and myself.
Clorinde is an instrumental avant-folk project that has been producing music based on a minimalist approach towards repetition, cyclic melodies, primitive rhythm and evocative sounds, resulting in the beautiful fragile balance between tight structures and free-form improvisation.
Clorinde's distinctive sound features a blend of acoustic and electric instruments from a different backgrounds (banjos, guitars, vibraphones, African kalimbas, zithers, clarinet, bass, electric, organ, various drums and percussions) extrapolated from their context and processed through pedals and loopers, bringing an enchanting flavour of rhythmic psychedelia mathematical post-folk with exciting structures and surprising passages of minimal introspection.
